After recognizing her handiness when single-handedly renovating the bathroom and kitchen of a loft she shared with 6 roommates, a friend suggested Amy start prop assisting. At the time she was very influenced by the burgeoning art, music and food communities that she found herself amongst in Williamsburg and the Lower East Side of Manhattan in the early 2000’s. Assisting on primarily fashion sets, she soon realized that her interests were much more about the finer details and the personality of the spaces behind the model rather than the model. Now an extremely sought after art director, set designer, and prop stylist Amy splits time between LA, NYC, and whereever her work takes her.
