After stylishly renovating the bathroom and kitchen of her shared loft in Manhattan, a friend suggested Amy try working as a prop assistant. At the time, in the early 2000s, she was influenced by the burgeoning art, music and food scenes in Williamsburg and the Lower East Side of Manhattan. She started assisting primarily on fashion sets, but she soon realized that her interests were shifting to the finer details and personality of the spaces behind the models. Now as an extremely sought after art director, set designer and prop stylist, Amy splits her time between Los Angeles, New York City and wherever her work takes her.
